Webster Home Improvement, Inc. has been serving the Greater Rochester, NY area for over 25 years. We are a small, closely held Company dedicated to offer our Clients professional service. Our mission is not only to provide excellent Client service but to create an experience that is less stressful and more fun. We don’t work on job sites, we work on your Home, and we appreciate that opportunity.
The Team:
Tom O’Brien- President/ Owner
Tom has over 30 years of experience in Light Commercial, New Home Construction, and Remodeling. Tom founded Webster Home Improvement and is still “hands on” in the role of Production Manager. When we start your Project, Tom will help guide you through the process of getting your Project done on time. He is from Webster where he lives with his Wife and three kids. Tom enjoys snowmobiling, boating, and spending time with his Family and Friends.

Justin Warren- Project Manager
Justin got his start in Remodeling right here at WHI. Justin has swiftly gone through the ranks over the last 16 years from Laborer to Lead Carpenter to Project Manager. Justin handles the day to day tasks involved with your project including Client communication, Project Schedule, Material procurement, Design work, and Job Supervision. A Webster native, Justin enjoys Golfing, Camping, and anything Tech related.
The Process:
Once you contact us, we will set up an appointment with you to visit your Home and talk about what you would like to have done. During the initial meeting, be prepared to discuss topics such as Design, Timeline, Product Offerings, and Preliminary Budget. Once we gather all the information, we will invite you back to our Showroom to review an Initial Design and Proposal (not all Projects require a Showroom visit). The Initial Proposal will include certain allowances for selections of items yet to be made.
Once we decide to move forward with your Project, will will enter into a Design Agreement for a small fee that will be deducted from the final Project. This will enable us to guide you through the process of making the necessary Selections/Provisions to generate a comprehensive Scope of work to be done. When we are both satisfied with the Scope of the Project, and the Major Components of the Project have been selected and approved, we will enter into a Contract and choose a start date.
We often have our Potential Clients ask us how much they should Budget for their Remodeling Projects. While every project is unique, we like the following tools to help guide you to determine your Budget:
